Imagine the difference between printing an image of distressed concrete on flat versus textured vinyl. Pairing your choice of image with the right base surface has a huge impact on the end result: certain material structures can add extra depth and tactility to the surface, creating a more dynamic look and feel in an interior.

Available in an array of different structured surfaces, our digitally printed vinyl wallcovering is suitable for a multitude of applications and atmospheres, and can be seamlessly applied. Not only that, but it’s also flame retardant and light- and colourfast. Easy to install and maintain, vinyl is the ideal solution for environments that require extra protection against stains and intense cleaning.

Our digitally printed wallcovering is available in a range of eight different structured surfaces – from solid, smooth finishes to tactile gradients. From the woven structure of Sagara+Print to the plaster look of Tica+Print to Bely+Print’s linen likeness.

Thanks to their various textures, all of our printable surfaces interact with imagery in their own unique way. To help architects and designers make the right choice, we offer a free mini-swatch fan, a compact tool that presents all printable Vescom surfaces both with and without imagery so they can see the difference. By also featuring different types of imagery – photographic and abstract, as well as various textures, materials and colours – we demonstrate not only how each affects the end result, but also that any image style really is possible.

Porak+Print is a non-vinyl sustainable surface that incorporates 40 per cent recycled polyester and is coated on both sides with acrylate. The product passes the flame retardancy test EN 13501, B s2 d0. Porak+Print has a width of 320 cm, producing a printable surface of 315 cm. Once railroaded, this product can be used on ceiling heights of +/- 305 cm across a maximum width of 30 m.

Picture a hotel room, for example. All of the walls could feature the same wallcovering, but accent imagery can be printed on the space above the bed. What’s more, our advanced printing process ensures the inks stand out and stay bright.

The following standard wallcovering designs can be used for customized digital printing: Albert, Kilby, Lismore, Millwood, Nero and Melvin.

For technical reasons, metallic and high-embossment surfaces are excluded from this offer. Vescom’s design team is on hand to advise on an image’s suitability for printing on wallcovering from our standard collection. Our standard wallcovering collection designs come in widths of 130 cm. This means that the printable surface becomes 128 cm.

Our digitally printed wallcovering can fulfil the IMO flame retardant standards for the shipping industry, making it suitable for cruise ships, ferries and offshore platforms. This applies to our smaller-width Wallcovering+Print options and therefore includes: Tica+Print, Lay+Print, Delta+Print, Sagra+Print, Colour Choice+Print and Bely+Print.

Branding and retail go hand in hand. Digitally printed wallcovering makes it possible to intrinsically weave a brand’s identity into a space rather than apply it as a superficial layer. Specific colours, logos, text and other distinguishing elements can therefore become part of the architecture instead of an afterthought, helping to create an immersive brand experience. The protective film has a high chemical resistance against common household cleaners and disinfectants – and even against many aggressive chemicals, such as alcohols, solvents, bleaching agents, acids and bases.

The film prevents these aggressive chemicals from degrading the print and structure, thereby maintaining the wallcovering’s aesthetic value – even under harsh conditions. Vescom Protect also passes the highest standards for wallcovering, including its level of flame retardancy.
